Rasme Saifee, Rajab 1432H

The Rasme Saifee Majlis held after Urs Mubarak of Syednal Muqaddas RA is always attended by Joras in great numbers and this year was no different. Joras came to partake various Barakaat; that of the Ziyarat of Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA, of the Deedar of Daiz Zaman Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS and Mansoosahu Syedi wa Maulaya Aliqadar Muffadal Saifuddin TUS.

Joras got all these Barakaat as well as the Sharaf of Nikah, just 3 days after Mumineen witnessed the once-in-a-lifetime spectacle of Daiz Zaman performing Nas. To commemorate this historic event, Joras were given a photo frame of all 3 Maulas, in addition to a Saya-Kurta and Rida cloth.

They were given these Faakhir Hadaya when 12 Shahzada Sahebs and Ahfaad & Asbaat of Huzurala TUS performed their Nikah in various venues of Mumbai. Even those Joras whose Nikah had been performed after Milaad Me'avi got Sharaf of participating in this Majlis. Syedi wa Maulayi Mufaddal Bhaisaheb TUS also performed Nikah of some lucky Joras in Saifee Mahal.

There was Khushi Jaman for all newly-wed Dulhas and Dulhans, close to their Nikah Centre.

In some cases they interacted with the prospects directly.

In all the towns and cities they visited, TNC‐Kolkata members were warmly received and amiably treated. Their initiative and effort in organizing this program was well appreciated and all cooperation was extended by the hosts to send as many candidates as possible for the event.

Program Details:

Day 1: The program began with DAREES of SYEDNA HATIM(RA) BIN SYEDNA IBHRAHIM(RA) AND SYEDNA TAHER SAIFUDDIN(RA) under the SADARAAT of AAMIL SAHEB of Kolkata at a beautifully decorated Badri Hall. A sumptuous meal followed.

Day 2: This was the day of actual TAARUF. The venue was Badri Hall. Events began with TILAWAT‐E‐QURAN‐E‐MAJID and MATAM to the recitation of YA SYEDUS SHOHADAI and FULKUL HUSSAIN. This was followed by a 15‐minute video recording of BAYAAN MUBARAK of Aqa Moula (TUS) sent specially for this day by The International Taiseer‐un‐Nikah Committee, Mumbai. Participants were then divided into seven groups comprising of both boys and girls and each group was given a name based on a renowned brand of chocolate.

In the pre-lunch session candidates were made to take part in group activities designed to promote maximum interaction between the boys and girls.

Post NAMAAZ and lunch a SHITABI TAARUF round was held following which candidates handed over the Choice Slip which were given to them at the beginning of the event. While counselors sorted out the slips, candidates participated in a quiz. The quiz continued till Maghrib even while cubicle meetings were in progress.

Post Maghrib, dinner was served and then participants were taken back to their respective hotels.

Day 3: All participants were assembled at the Burhani Masjid Complex and were taken on a guided tour of Burhani Masjid and Aqa Moula’s(TUS) Haveli. Cubicle meetings between consenting candidates continued throughout the morning while the rest of the participants were kept occupied with more games and group activities.

After a light but delicious lunch of fish and DAL‐CHAWAL, all headed towards the Millennium Park to board the boat that would take them for a cruise on the river Hooghly. Though it was a sweltering summer day a cool breeze began to blow across, as if on cue, the moment the boat set sail thus setting up the ambience for a beautiful summer day on the river. Meetings continued on the cruise. Some of the boys and girls who had already got the opportunity to meet earlier were able to spend time together.
